What's New for the 2024 Toyota Highlander?

For the 2024 Highlander, the lineup is shorter than last year, with the deletion of the base model. The Highlander otherwise remains the same in terms of its appearance and features. The Highlander does not need any changes to stand out again as a top choice in its class. The Highlander is still a popular choice for its spacious cabin, comfortable and quiet ride, and well-equipped cabin.

What Are the 2024 Highlander Trims & Features?

There are five trim levels in the 2024 Toyota Highlander lineup.

The base model is called the LE. It has three rows of seats and tri-zone climate control. The driver's seat is power-adjustable, and the second and third rows of seats have a split-folding mechanism. The base model's technology includes an eight-inch infotainment display screen and a digital instrument panel. Keyless ignition is standard, and the exterior includes 18-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights, and a power liftgate.

The XLE, which is following in the lineup, adds some additional interior features, including a wireless phone charging pad, a sunroof, and second-row sunshades. Both front seats are heated, and the passenger's seat is power-adjustable. This trim has captain's chairs for a seating capacity of seven people. The seats are also made of synthetic leather upholstery for a more comfortable ride. On the outside, the XLE has a sunroof, hands-free liftgate, and roof rails.

The XSE trim comes larger 20-inch wheels, a sport suspension, and sporty styling accents. The cabin adds ambient lighting for a more upscale look.

The Limited follows with a more prominent 12.3-inch touchscreen display and a larger digital instrument panel. The steering wheel is heated, and the seating material is upgraded to leather. The two front seats are ventilated as well. For sound, the Limited gets a JBL audio system. Topping the line, the Platinum has a panoramic sunroof, heated second-row seats, adaptive headlights, and larger 20-inch wheels.

How Much Horsepower Does the 2024 Highlander Have?

One engine powers the 2024 Highlander lineup. The Highlander's engine is a turbo four-cylinder that produces 265 horsepower. This engine comes with an automatic eight-speed transmission. Although front-wheel drive is standard, all-wheel drive is available.
